We are holding Teen Maker recruitments for the 2026 Maker Faire season! If you are dedicated and passionate about creating, teaching, STEM, want to make connections with fellow makers and makerspaces in NYC, or have any of the following skills:
– PCB Creation
– Engineering knowledge
– Craft creation related to STEAM
– Strong teacher
– Presenting
We would love to have you on the Maker Faire Coney Island Teen Makers Team for this season and onwards! This is a volunteer position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Starting in August and throughout the year, we will individually assign each member of the engineering team projects based on their skills and commitment level, whether it’s making materials for our workshops, presenting their own work at events, teaching classes and more. We will mainly be communicating through Discord. Meeting times, where we discuss team objectives, will be at least once every two weeks. Times and dates will be based off of group availability.
NOTE: Workshop and making skills are NEVER limited to just tech. If you have created anything in the past or have a curious mind, you are a MAKER.
