What inspired you to make this project?
I've been doing pop up for the last several years and have really been wanting to teach a workshop on it.
I saw a post a while back asking for artists who specifically learned something or honed a skill during the pandemic. While I had been playing around with learning pop ups earlier in 2019, it was really during the pandemic that I dove in to really learning a lot of different and more complex techniques. I love Coney Island and most of my pop ups revolve around Coney Island so this Faire is the perfect opportunity to teach a workshop.

What are some of the challenges you have encountered and how did you address them?
Pop up paper engineering is all trial and error. It's constantly, drawing, cutting out, assembling and then going back to adjust it over and over until finally it all comes together correctly. But when it finally all works together its magic.
