My pottery is decorative and functional. I enjoy experimenting with various textures and surfaces throughout the whole process of throwing, carving, glazing and firing. My Brooklyn studio is where I transform lumps of clay into unique works of art.

My pottery studio is in Brooklyn and I resumed “playing” with clay about 10 years ago after a very long hiatus and quickly became immersed in it. It is an ongoing learning process and I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge with others. My pottery is decorative and functional and I’m inspired by textures and patterns. Most of my pieces are altered, manipulated and carved or incised using various techniques such as chattering, cracking and and sgraffito.
